Monthly Maintenance Fee — $20.00
Charge waived if average daily balance* in the account is $2,500 or more during the statement cycle.

The first 300 items presented collectively (deposits, checks deposited and checks paid) during a statement cycle are not charged the item fees described until the total number of items including deposits, checks deposited and checks paid exceed 300. Each item after the 300 item threshold has been met will be assessed the appropriate per item fee. An earnings credit based on the average collected balance** in the account may offset item charges.

 

Business All Access
Monthly Maintenance Fee — $10.00

Charge waived if:

  • average daily balance* is $1,000 or more during the statement cycle OR
  • at least two (2) bill payments are made during the statement cycle using Fairfield County Bank Connect24SM Online Banking and Bill Pay1 AND
  • at least six (6) point of sale (POS) transactions are made during the statement cycle using your Fairfield County Bank Business Debit Card2

Non-Profit NOW
The Non-Profit NOW account is available only to qualifying non-profit organizations which can provide required documentation indicating Internal Revenue Service qualification of nonprofit status. Monthly Maintenance Charges, Deposit and Check Charges are waived for eligible non-profit entities.

 

IOLTA/IORTA
IOLTA
(Interest on Lawyers Trust Account) accounts are special accounts created under the Lawyers Trust Fund Program. All interest earned in these accounts is pooled to support civil legal services and justice programs for those who would normally be unable to afford them.

IORTA
(Interest on Realtors Trust Account) are special accounts created under the State Association of Realtors. All interest earned on IORTA escrows is pooled to support grants that provide housing opportunities for individuals and families who would normally be unable to afford them. Monthly Maintenance Charges, Deposit and Check Charges are waived.

† Earnings Credit Information
The Earnings Credit is a variable rate. At our discretion we may change the Earnings Credit on the account at any time. We use the average collected balance,** less 10.00% for Reserve Requirements, to calculate the Earnings Credit on the commercial checking account for the statement period. The Earnings Credit will be used to reduce the fees charged to the account for the month in which the Earnings Credit was earned. Any excess Earnings Credit that is not used to reduce fees in the month it is earned will not be carried over to subsequent months.

* The average daily balance is calculated by adding the funds on deposit in the account each day of the statement cycle and dividing that figure by the number of days in the statement cycle.

** The average collected balance is the sum of daily balances in an account, less the total of uncollected items, divided by the number of days in the period.

1 Payment must settle or debit the account during the statement cycle.

2 Transactions may be either PIN or signature authorized and must debit the account during the statement cycle. Transactions conducted at ATMs do not count as POS transactions and are ineligible toward the monthly fee waiver requirements.
