FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK APPOINTS ZULEYMA STRYKER TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND STAFFING

Ridgefield, CT – January 22, 2016: Fairfield County Bank is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Zuleyma Stryker to Assistant Vice President, Employee Relations and Staffing. In July of 2015, Mrs. Stryker was hired as a temporary contract recruiter for Fairfield County Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, Mrs. Stryker worked at Northwestern Mutual – The Bender Group as a Campus Recruiter and the Recruiting, Training, and Development Coordinator.

As Assistant Vice President, Mrs. Stryker will be in charge of employee relations and staffing. In this role she will be managing long term talent and sourcing strategy along with daily bank wide recruiting activity. Mrs. Stryker will be assisting the Senior Vice President of Human Resources with managing bank wide employee relation issues which include career development, performance management, policy development and enforcement as well as managing affirmative action programs.

Zuleyma is a graduate of Fairfield University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business. She also received an Associate’s Degree from Norwalk Community College in Business Administration. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Professional Human Resource Designation.

Mrs. Stryker is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, and LIMRA, which is an international association of insurance and financial service companies. Zuleyma is also a certified coach through Northwestern Mutual, Committee Secretary of Troop 66 Boy Scouts, and involved with Sons and Mothers for Others in Easton, CT.

Mrs. Stryker currently resides in Easton, CT with her husband, Shawn Stryker of eighteen years, and her two children. In her free time, she likes to go hiking with her husband and kids.
