FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK COLLECTS TOYS FOR THE CHILD AND FAMILY GUIDANCE CENTER
December 3, 2014 – Bridgeport, CT: Fairfield County Bank’s Bridgeport and Trumbull branches will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the benefit of The Child and Family Guidance Center. This important community organization helps families including over 3,000 children in the area. Last year Fairfield County Bank’s Bridgeport office donated over 500 toys to the community and this year the Trumbull office has volunteered to assist the Bridgeport office in their effort.
The donation program is organized and run by Yvette Benedetto, Assistant Branch Manager of Fairfield County Bank’s Bridgeport office. “I have been employed at Fairfield County Bank since 2007, and they have been very supportive with this yearly toy drive. I have kept up the toy drive all these years as this event is very dear to my heart. As the clients grow in number each year for the center, I thrive to make each year more successful than the last. All children deserve the most life has to offer, and some are not fortunate to get that chance,” said Benedetto. Yvette has volunteered and collected for the Child Guidance Center for nearly 30 years.
Any one that would like to donate a new, unwrapped toy can bring it to Fairfield County Bank at our Bridgeport office at 1089 Madison Avenue, Bridgeport, Ct. 06606 or our Trumbull office at 915 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. Toys will be collected until December 18th.
