FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK COLLECTS CHILDREN’S WINTER COATS FOR TWO LOCAL CHARITIES

Ridgefield, CT—January 12, 2023: Ridgefield, CT: Fairfield County Bank’s 17 branch office locations will be collecting new and gently used winter coats for children in Fairfield County, benefitting Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County and the Connecticut Institute For Communities’ (CIFC) Early Learning Programs in Danbury. The drive will run from January 9—January 25, 2023.

Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County envisions a community in which every school-age child has quality clothing so that they may attend school with the confidence and self-esteem needed to achieve academic success. It is their mission to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in-crisis school age children in Fairfield County. New or gently used winter coats for children in Kindergarten—12th grade will be collected for Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County.

CIFC is a locally based independent, non-profit whose mission is dedicated to advancing our communities and fostering greater opportunities for low- and moderate-income families through a combination of health and education programs, and housing and economic development projects. New or gently used coats for children ranging from 6 months to 7 years old will be collected for CIFC’s Early Learning Program.

Anyone that would like to donate a new or gently used children’s winter coat can drop them off at a local Fairfield County Bank branch. For more information on the drive, please visit https://www.fairfieldcountybank.com/coatdrive
