Ridgefield CT – August 14, 2023: Fairfield County Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Theresa Marsan and Svitlana Afanasieva to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager.

Theresa Marsan, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager has assumed responsibility of Fairfield County Bank’s Stamford office. Starting with the Bank in 1999, Mrs. Marsan has held numerous positions and leadership roles throughout the organization during her tenure. Theresa has spent time in offices across the Bank’s Fairfield County footprint, diversifying her understanding of client needs and looks forward to developing strong relationships with the Stamford community.

Mrs. Marsan is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management and the Norwalk Leadership Institute. She currently resides in Norwalk and enjoys spending her free time with her three grandchildren.

Svitlana Afanasieva has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Weston office. Ms. Afanasieva started her career at Fairfield County Bank in 2017 as a teller at the 150 Danbury Road branch. She has held a variety of roles, where she has been able to exercise her passion for community banking by proudly serving her clients with best-in-class service and extended volunteerism. She strives to provide each client with a service experience tailored to fit their specific needs.

Ms. Afanasieva is a graduate of the Poltova Institute of Economics and Law. Lana is deeply passionate about her community, serving as the Sergeant-at-Arms for the Rotary Club of Ridgefield and a board member of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.
