FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK MAIN STREET RIDGEFIELD OFFICE RENOVATION NEARS COMPLETION

Ridgefield, CT—December 12, 2024: Fairfield County Bank is excited to announce that the ongoing renovations at the Bank’s Main Street office located at 374 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT will be completed in mid-December.

The project includes a rehabilitation incorporating ADA accessible design and Connecticut’s fire safety and prevention standards. With the required extensive remodel, Fairfield County Bank will modernize the original Main Street headquarters and return it to its original purpose as the home of the Bank’s growing operational support teams.

The mortgage origination and loan servicing department will conduct business out of the renovated Main Street building, near the end of December 2024. This move will bring 20+ Bank employees to downtown Ridgefield, further bolstering its economy with their patronage of the local shops.

Fairfield County Bank, with the same sense of community that has only grown over 153 years since its founding, recognizes the historic landmark that the 374 Main Street building represents to the Ridgefield community. While the renovation allowed for necessary updates, the notable integrity of the building will remain, and with step of the renovation completed by local vendors. The historic bank vault located in the building was painstakingly restored and will serve as the focal point of the ground floor.

The team of dedicated community bankers who operated out of the Main Street office have continued to support clients’ banking needs at the 3 Governor Street location, allowing clients to conduct banking transactions through the drive-up or in-branch. Additionally, the 24-hour ATM located in the vestibule at 374 Main Street will continue to operate.
