Fairfield County Bank Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader Virginia Turnbull Honored as a 2025 Women Innovator

Ridgefield, CT—August 25, 2025: Virginia Turnbull, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Team Leader was recently announced as one of the 2025 Women Innovators by Westfair Business Journal.

This award recognizes dynamic leaders, nominated by their peers, that drive meaningful change through innovation, resilience, and bold vision. Across countless industries, honorees exemplify the power of female leadership and the profound impact of women as change-makers in their community.

A 30-year veteran in financial services, Virginia has been with Fairfield County Bank since 2012. Ms. Turnbull takes great pride in being recognized by her clients as a trusted advisor within and beyond financial services. She is responsible for maintaining a sizable portfolio, forging new business connections, and managing a team of Commercial Lenders. She operates out of the Fairfield County Bank Compo Road office in Westport. Virginia's commitment to financial education is one of her defining passions, as she volunteers as an educator through Junior Achievement of Fairfield County, stepping into elementary school classrooms to teach financial literacy.
