Alison Wood has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Wilton branch office. Ms. Wood has been with Fairfield County Bank for over 15 years, holding various positions throughout the Bank’s retail banking footprint. As Assistant Branch Manager, she will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, continuing to deliver superb customer service and developing new business relationships. Alison is proud to call Wilton her home and give her time and energy to further enrich its vibrant community. Ms. Wood is the Secretary of the Wilton Singers and volunteers her time regularly with the Wilton Chamber of Commerce.
Mariela Varrone-Wrobel was recently appointed to Assistant Vice President, Loan Servicing Manager of Retail Lending. Ms. Varrone-Wrobel brings over 25 years of experience across a variety of areas within the financial industry. Her responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the loan servicing department, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, and assisting in regular audits. Mariela is a dedicated volunteer at both New Fairfield Sherman Animal Welfare and New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department and looks forward to deepening her connections in Fairfield County.
Elyssia Poland has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Operations and Compliance Manager of the Bank’s investment services group, Fairfield County Financial Services*. Elyssia has played an integral role in the department since 1996. In her current role, Elyssia will assume expanded responsibility in managing the operations of the department and ensuring all activities are compliant with state and national standards in coordination with Osaic Institutions, Inc., through which the access to financial services is offered. Mrs. Poland holds her FINRA Registrations 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 in addition to her CT Health & Life Insurance license. She is a deeply passionate advocate of financial literacy education. Elyssia volunteers with Junior Achievement of Fairfield County and the Women’s Business Development Council, providing financial literacy coaching.
