Ridgefield, CT—April 07, 2026: Fairfield County Bank was recently presented with the Outstanding Community Partner Award from the Ridgefield Father’s Club. The award was accepted by Laura Silver, Fairfield County Bank Vice President and Marketing Manager, at the Ridgefield Father’s Club Award Dinner.

The award celebrates partners that go above and beyond in fostering strong, positive relationships with community groups, families, schools, nonprofits, and local initiatives. Recipients actively contribute time, resources, sponsorships, volunteer efforts, and financial support to strengthen community ties, promote family values, and drive meaningful impact. Fairfield County Bank earned this honor through its ongoing support of Ridgefield-area initiatives, exemplifying the qualities that make it a standout corporate citizen and valued ally to local organizations.

“We’re extremely honored to receive the Outstanding Community Partner Award,” said Fairfield County Bank President, Daniel Berta. “While the Bank’s impact extends across Fairfield County, Ridgefield is historically our home. I’m proud of the impact our numerous Bank volunteers have had on the Ridgefield community by serving on charity boards, volunteering at events, and advocating for the causes they are passionate about. This recognition is a testament to their hard work.”

Fairfield County Bank was founded in Ridgefield more than 155 years ago and has steadfastly supported the community since. In 2025 alone, over 5,000 volunteer hours were logged by Bank employees benefiting organizations based in Ridgefield. This includes volunteers at events like the annual Run Like a Mother 5K, Lounsbury House Senior Luncheons, and the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll down Main Street.
